What it is not

Book first. After the call you receive an invoice for $500, payable by check or by the payment instructions on the invoice. No card is needed to book, and there is no checkout on this site.
If you book a Working Session or larger within 30 days, the $500 is credited toward it.

Questions
Do I need to prepare anything?
Send the file, or an export of it, and one sentence on what it is for and who uses it. That is enough. We read it before the call.
What kinds of spreadsheets can you tear down?
Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, and exports from tools like QuickBooks or a booking system. If people copy data between them by hand, bring those too.
What if I have five spreadsheets?
Send them. The Teardown looks at how they connect, since that is usually where things break. If the scope is bigger than one call, we will say so before you are invoiced.
How do I pay?
Book first. After the call you receive an invoice for $500, payable by check or by the payment instructions on the invoice. There is no checkout on this site and no card is needed to book.
Is the $500 credited toward a larger project?
Yes. If you book a Working Session or larger within 30 days of your Teardown, the $500 comes off that invoice.
Do you work outside Davis?
Yes. Teardowns happen on a shared screen, so anywhere in California or the rest of the US works. Davis organizations can also meet in person.
Who does the work?
Matt Strong, who built every system on the Work page. There is no hand-off to a junior team.
What happens to my data?
Your file is used only for your Teardown, is never shared, and is deleted when you ask.
